As I reflect on my slippery best adventure, I realize that sometimes it's okay to be a little clumsy. It's okay to make mistakes and learn from them. And it's definitely okay to laugh at yourself.

At one point, I was holding onto the wall for dear life, trying to catch my breath. A kind stranger came up to me and said, "Hey, are you okay? Do you need some help?" I arrived at the ice rink, laced up my rented skates, and stepped onto the ice. Whoa. It was COLD. And slippery. Like, seriously slippery. I took my first step, and my feet flew out from under me. I landed on my butt with a thud.
